AIDS day

Think about what we did on World AIDS day.
We had an assembly on AIDS day we had two classes write speeches about AIDS. We also had a soccer match about for 5 RM and in the end we ended up with 4000 RM with the bake sale. We gave out ribbons for 5 RM for the people who are wearing a red shirt but the people who are wearing a school uniform we sold it for 1 RM.

What are your reactions?
I was impressed with the money that we collected i realized that we can help 1 for 2/3 of a year 1ith 500 RM. I was also amazed that many people were crying and very interested in the topic and they also wanted to do something and they also helped us raise money.

What did our actions mean to you / other students at ISKL / the world around us?
My reactions meant a lot to others because all of them felt this way and wanted to do something about AIDS. I thought that we can make a difference and so did others.Cache-Control: max-age=0

What were your highlights from yesterday?
I liked the soccer match he most because we raised a lot of money and we also had a lot of fun.

What will you remember about the day?
I will remember that we can make a difference and stop AIDS.

What do you think GI students should do next year on World AIDS Day?
I think we could d the same thing with the soccer match but instead of an assembly we can make court games and who ever wants to play has to pay and we can also sell the ribbons.

What did you learn after taking part in an action project like this?
I learned many think that AIDS are very affective not like before i thought that AIDS was just a sickness like a cold but then i realized it way more

What we could do for the assembly?

I think we could show a youtube video about aids, a slide show, a skit and we could make people talk about aids and maybe say a quote. I'm interested in talking in the assembly, I'm going to write a speech about aids, how aids affect the world and how people could live with aids. Maybe me and the other people that are doing there speech should have a 5 minute conversation about aids.

What are globsl issues?

Global issues are many problems that happen to the world and the environment like pollution and the most important one is poverty. Global issues are also the things that that effect the world when the world does not have enough water we have no plant no pollution and water no plants.

Why i care?

I care because with out global issues the world will be perfect and clean thats why we should care and we should do something about it.
